COORS LIGHT MAXIM GIRL SEARCH NATIONAL SERIES
For three seasons, Lightning Man Promotions Ltd. was selected by The Integer Group and Coors Brewing Company to Concept, Build and Execute the Coors Light Maxim Model Search Party Tour. 9+ Regional Finals, 1 National Final per season. The “Tours” as punctuation to localized promotions, OOH, Web based consumer interaction and other major media.
The Front-End Challenge: Take the Coors Light brand attributes, positioning and agency provided “flat” creative for this season’s promotion. 3 dimensionalize it and make it interactive all while keeping it key consumer relevant and fully leveraging the Maxim media relationship.
If you build it, they will come: Using cost effective modular pre fabricated structures with custom wraps, state of the art lighting and video (DL1/Catalyst core) and most importantly layers of brand educated professional interactive talent in unique and highly stylized wardrobe and roles, a complete brand immersion, consumer relevant environment was unloaded and set in 4 hours! Regardless of venue size or access.
Flawless Execution: From drafting the entry affidavits for contestants, Sweeps processes and rewards to managing the 100’s of contestants and sweeps participants LMP provided all logistics for the program seamlessly. This was including venue selection, negotiation, permits and legal compliance. LMP also provided Celebrity outreach delivering numerous professional athletes, TV and music personalities as guests and on stage contest judges. Additionally, LMP promotional strategies delivered grass roots key consumer relevant communication streams cultivating standing room only audiences for each event.
Results/Measurement: 3 years of program activation, 32 events to date. Over 40,000 key consumers attended. 75 consumers surveyed live at each event with brand CI questions for immediate read of emotional impact. Post event survey of approx. 200 to 300 key consumers surveyed via photo redemption website with similar battery of consumer intelligence questions to gauge retention 7 to 10 days post. Overall measure and feedback from both client and consumer read as excellent with optimized ROI.

In it’s 8th Year, The Tige’ Wake UP Wakeboard Competition on Pineview Reservoir has taken on a festival feel with competitors, audience, supporting brands and vendors coming from throughout the Mountain West Region and beyond to take part in the fantastic action/adventure sports energy and family friendly vibe at this amazing spectator friendly location.
With influence stretching from across the country and of course UTAH, this event sees an attendance of 4000 plus each year and growing. It is quite a spectacle to see the shoreline solid with spectators and 100 plus boats in the tie off along the competition tow line.
The organizers are also working with other like minded organizations, brands and existing stake holders to extend the action into the days before and evening after the main event as well as adding additional demo, learning and competitive opportunities adjacent to expand the series, attract more participation and increase commerce surrounding the activation.
GERMAINE MARINE AS THE PREMIERE TIGE DEALER IN THE WEST: Germaine Marine is the premiere Tige Dealership in both Utah and Arizona bringing the Tige ASR back to pull this years competition and take on Title sponsorship. The regions premiere Surf Demo Event featuring Tige Boats From Germaine Marine, Centurion and Supreme from BoardCo, Supra and Moomba from Marine Products, Nautique from Croft Marine and MasterCraft from Utah Water Sports along with all the surf boards from their pro shops makes for the perfect try before you buy scenario topped off with a ton of beach side fun to start the weekend right!
The Producers are pleased to offer this extension of The Wake UP program for the third year to showcase wakesurfing , the boats, boards and enthusiasts that make it the biggest growth activity in towable water sports! For 2017 we will up the experience with music and more activities on the beach!

After many years of successful wake sports events in the region, the producers were asked by the Utah Department of Natural Resources to produce this new lifestyle event at beautiful East Canyon Reservoir now heading into year two!
With influence stretching across the country and of course UTAH, this event is expected to see an attendance of 1000 plus. We expect this event to draw all the core enthusiasts in the region and attract new audience at this great venue moving into it’s second year for 2017!

MID WEEK WAKE UP SERIES 2011
Every Wednesday, all summer long! In its fifth year. The M-W-W-U is a destination for families and enthusiasts of water sports from throughout the Chicagoland, Southern Wisconsin and Northwest Indiana area to convene and ride behind the best tow boats on water and ride the best gear available in the water sports/wake disciplines for free courtesy of our sponsors and partners. We launch several boats with highly experienced operators and coaches, We outfit the riders with demo gear on the spot and riders of all ages and ability are provided a free pull and lesson.
It is not uncommon for us to have 300-600 people each week and 100+ riders participate on a given Wed. to enjoy the Watersports lifestyle. Never rode before? Not a problem. Comprehensive beginner/intermediate instruction on site as well for free. Starting with fundamentals on land and then by boat all but guaranteeing a successful first try! This all happens on the Fox River at The Broken that provides a great backdrop of music, delicious menu and comfortable surroundings for all with ample parking for vehicles and boats. We also play host to action sports film releases, pro clinic tours and host live entertainment throughout the series. This past season you saw some of the top athletes in the sport and region visit as we moved through the season with big trick and big crash demos at dusk! Mother nature shut us down with a flooded river for a couple weeks but we came back strong! Our season finale saw a huge crowd with the AAS team riders hitting the Monster Kicker Mitsubishi Car Jump in our final Session along with streetbike stunt riders in the lot! An epic way to wrap the season! The 2011 series will be epic!
ANNUAL RIVER GAMES 2009 and 2010
Annual Heritage Harbor RIVER GAMES event. Sunny, skies and pressed out water! As the sun got high in the sky, a steady queue of riders took advantage of the demo gear and free instruction aboard several MasterCraft boats launched for the clinics including riders ranging in age from 8 to 60 (I am guessing). As the day progressed more boats launched and folks enjoyed grilled favorites, soft drinks and beer provided by Crawdad’s bar and grill, played volleyball and bags while the DJ spun a fine set of late summer fun cuts. As we moved toward sundown the sky popped with color as a team of jumpers from Skydive Chicago descended on the harbor trailing smoke landing among the crowd that had assembled to kick off the not so mini “Air and Water” show(www.skydivechicago.com). The skydivers bundled their chutes as a procession of thrilling barefoot, ski, wake surf and wakeboard athletes began their shoreline passes thrilling the crowd as the MC called the big tricks and crashes to wrap up the day.
AAS REDBULL HIGHRISE CHICAGO VENETIAN NIGHT
Lightning Man Promotions Ltd. and it’s subsidiary www.all-actionsports.com brought together the converging worlds of extreme FMX and wakeboarding along with Red Bull and MasterCraft during the Red Bull High Rise event in Grant Park Chicago where Ronnie Renner broke his world vertical jump record with a final jump of 63’5” INCREDIBLE! We then brought this Red Bull premiere athlete, his lovely wife and parents aboard MasterCraft’s Premiere Pro Wakeboard Tour X-Star as a featured boat in the Venetian Night Parade along the Chicago lakefront. With AC/DC blaring on the premium stereo Renner stood triumphant on the transom doing his best Bon Scott air guitar flanked by Red Bull Wings girls as we slowly passed the 500,000 plus that assembled at the lakefront for the parade. Cameras flashed as we approached the Red Bull exclusive viewing area on the shore and the crowd cheered while the cameras rolled on this unique natural brand alignment and unique product placement.

AAS stepped in to support our associates at www.sandboxmarketing.com when they rolled through Chi-town with the Journeys Backyard BBQ featuring Shawn White on wheels, Metal Mulisha demos and live music. AAS provided local promotion and some other key in market resources helping to make this event a great success.
AAS 3rd RAIL JAM 2011
LMP and it’s action sports component www.all-actionsports.com partnered with the www.3rdrailjam.com to plan and execute the Midwest/Chicago area tour stop for the second year in January 2011. All Day DJ and MC battles, break dancers and graffiti set the stage for an epic rail jam at on mountain then as night fell we moved the party to www.sideouts.com for a live concert event. Giveaways from a ton of sponsors including Skull Candy and Under Armour along with nighttime adult beverages from Kilo Kai!
MONSTER MOUNTAIN-Wake the Flakes: The diehard wakeboard crew came out to hit the uphill features towed by snow mobile instead of boat.
USASA SERIES EVENTS: Each weekend throughout the season riders accumulated points in multiple snowboard disciplines all culminating in a trip to Colorado for the National finals for the very best riders!
Windy City Ski and Snowboard Show: Chicagoland’s newest and largest consumer ski and snowboard show to hit the Midwest. With 100,000 sq.ft. of retailers, resorts, clubs, manufacturer reps and a huge sale along with our indoor snowboard rail jam!
Southside Rail Jam October 23, 2010 The early warning! Lots of diehards grabbed their skis and snowboards and jammed! The H-F Park District (25 minutes south of Chicago) made it snow earlier than ever for the South Side Snow Rail Jam!
World Snowboard Day at Raging Buffalo- 12/19/10 World Snowboard Day can be celebrated anywhere there is snow, and even if there isn’t. The aim of this day is to promote snowboarding as a sport and culture.
Northbrook Winter Carnival: 1/16/10. We were engaged to build and conduct a rail jam and did so as a USASA demo event. This awesome winter event was full of great winter activities and hundreds in attendance. The Rail Jam was a big hit
The 3rd Rail Jam, January 22, 2010 at Raging Buffalo – Now in its 4th year, the 3rd Rail Jam is a national, touring, grassroots snow sport competition coupled with live hip hop music, art, fashion, and culture.

AAS WORLD SNOWBOARD DAY 2009 and 2010
All-Action sports(www.all-actionsports.com) joined forces to promote WorldSnowboard Day 2009 at the Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park Algonquin, IL. Scores of people responded to the call of all ages, genders, shapes and sizes. Taking advantage of Free beginner lessons, discounted lift tickets and gear rentals. Every hour on the hour a new group was introduced to the sport on the learner hill by Raging Buffalo’s skilled coaching staff. Throughout the day participants went from their butts to making it all the way down the hill without a fall!
