LMP and it’s action sports component partnered with the to plan and execute the Midwest/Chicago area tour stop for the second year in January 2011. All Day DJ and MC battles, break dancers and graffiti set the stage for an epic rail jam at on mountain then as night fell we moved the party to for a live concert event. Giveaways from a ton of sponsors including Skull Candy and Under Armour along with nighttime adult beverages from Kilo Kai!

MONSTER MOUNTAIN-Wake the Flakes: The diehard wakeboard crew came out to hit the uphill features towed by snow mobile instead of boat.

USASA SERIES EVENTS: Each weekend throughout the season riders accumulated points in multiple snowboard disciplines all culminating in a trip to Colorado for the National finals for the very best riders!

Windy City Ski and Snowboard Show: Chicagoland’s newest and largest consumer ski and snowboard show to hit the Midwest. With 100,000 sq.ft. of retailers, resorts, clubs, manufacturer reps and a huge sale along with our indoor snowboard rail jam!

Southside Rail Jam October 23, 2010 The early warning! Lots of diehards grabbed their skis and snowboards and jammed! The H-F Park District (25 minutes south of Chicago) made it snow earlier than ever for the South Side Snow Rail Jam!

World Snowboard Day at Raging Buffalo- 12/19/10 World Snowboard Day can be celebrated anywhere there is snow, and even if there isn’t. The aim of this day is to promote snowboarding as a sport and culture.

Northbrook Winter Carnival: 1/16/10. We were engaged to build and conduct a rail jam and did so as a USASA demo event. This awesome winter event was full of great winter activities and hundreds in attendance. The Rail Jam was a big hit

The 3rd Rail Jam, January 22, 2010 at Raging Buffalo – Now in its 4th year, the 3rd Rail Jam is a national, touring, grassroots snow sport competition coupled with live hip hop music, art, fashion, and culture.

Causes this season: We brought the Action sports community together for a very good cause! Raising money for ( a mission based Christian Organization.

All-Action sports( joined forces to promote WorldSnowboard Day 2009 at the Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park Algonquin, IL. Scores of people responded to the call of all ages, genders, shapes and sizes. Taking advantage of Free beginner lessons, discounted lift tickets and gear rentals. Every hour on the hour a new group was introduced to the sport on the learner hill by Raging Buffalo’s skilled coaching staff. Throughout the day participants went from their butts to making it all the way down the hill without a fall! Thanks to Monster Energy for helping us Unleash the Beast! 26 Countries, 108 Resorts, 900 Free Activities.

Absolut Flavor Launches

Southern Wine and Spirits, Future Brands Absolut and Hornitos have entrusted their line extension flavor launch event experiences to Lightning Man Promotions since 2006. These B to B and B to C events along with internal meetings have measured up to more awareness, trial, frontline advocacy and sales.

Haunted Hotel Ball

CHICAGO, IL (September 13, 2012) – Chicago and Phoenix/Scottsdale’s biggest Halloween costume party, Haunted Hotel Ball, checks in to the Las Vegas Strip’s Mandalay Bay on Saturday, October 27, 2012 with a live performance from Havana Brown of her 2012 Billboard #1 hit single and a $5,000 costume contest.

Created in 2008 by nightlife producers Global Adrenaline, Haunted Hotel Ball attracts over 4,000 partygoers and sells out Hilton Chicago and Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale each year. Now, the all-night Halloween bash has its sights set on Sin City, where partying till dawn is mandatory, making it the perfect next stop for the event that is becoming the top Halloween party brand in the US.

Haunted Hotel Ball combines elements of a VIP nightclub experience, with the exclusiveness of a hotel gala, and the terror of a haunted house. The moment you enter Mandalay Bay, you will be directed to a 30,000 square foot ballroom transformed by an Award winning design team into an eerie setting from Las Vegas past with theatrical encounters from wolf man Elvis, vampire showgirls, Mummy Contortionists and aerial ghosts.

Global Adrenaline has assembled a dynamic team led by Tony Duffy of Lightning Man Productions, a nationally recognized event producer with Halloween “specialization” as the executive. Along with Tony, Allen Stevens of Quantum Boxx Visual Engineering will lead as Tech Director with support from the team at AV Las Vegas, The concert and toured event industries “go to” for audio, lighting, video and all things in between in L.V. This sensory assault will freeze you in terror with a full scale gothic castle set provided by A Way of Life Productions, Chad Craig a pioneer of themed nightlife events in L.V. The Set will be further entombed with creepy décor elements from veteran, décor specialist Ian Campo of A Designers Secret Weapon. With this stage set, the HHB cast of the undead will come to life with direction, make-up and costuming from Kristen Yardley, a technician for MYSTERE by Cirque du Soleil and Principal at Pound of Flesh FX.

Over 3,000 costumed partygoers will dance to the dark and dirty beats of world renowned DJs and recording artists, including a live performance from the Australian export Havana Brown, whose track “We Run the Night” featuring Pitbull, reached #1 on the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart and peaked at #26 on the Billboard Hot 100 this year.

Outrageous, bizarre and risqué will be among the Halloween costumes competing in the $5,000 cash and prize virtual costume contest. Photos of the top contestants will be posted on the Haunted Hotel Ball website following the event and visitors will vote for their favorite costumes from the three Haunted Hotel Ball locations.

Virgin America Gate Launch Party – Chicago

LMP was called upon by C3 agency to provide ground up production management, logistics and staffing as Virgin America opened their new gates at O’Hare with back to back events on the tarmac complete with water cannon salutes as the inaugural flights arrived then The Wit Hotel downtown Chicago which raged well into the evening as Sir Richard Branson, celebs and invited revelers danced the night away at The Roof venue high atop the hotel. Production value was quite “high” all day and all night!

Digitas Corporate Outing/Team Builder

Digitas selected LMP to concept and produce their summer “town hall” event for their Chicago office. This event was driven by rich thematic inspired by the season and company culture creating a robust environment to deliver corporate news and provide a memorable experience for the Chicago campus team.

Jim Beam/Sauza Hornitos National Sales Meeting

Southern Wine and Spirits, Future Brands Absolut and Hornitos have entrusted their line extension flavor launch event experiences to Lightning Man Promotions since 2006. LMP was selected by Mirrorball Agency to assist with numerous activation needs around the Jim Beam Global Sales Meetings in Chicago 2009. Specifically servicing the Sauza Hornitos Tequila brand verticals. Events were both corporate and consumer with deep brand identity conceptual premise, Robust scenic, audio, video, lighting and crazy talent. This robust project had multiple activities occurring simultaneously at different locations requiring some very savvy program management to pull it off.

Since 1998 RedBull has called upon LMP to help drive the brand through all manner of consumer on-premise events, programs and brand owned equity activation and to translate these exciting outward facing elements into internal meetings and stake holder content to excite channels and further build the brand and stakeholder loyalties.
